How many students attend LCA?

Our total school enrollment is currently 435 students. We receive approximately 70 plus applications for our 52 kindergarten spots each year. Because of the competitive ratio of applications to available openings, it is important to pay close attention to all deadlines when completing the application.

What are your entrance requirements?

Since we evaluate the "whole student" when considering applicants for admission, it is difficult to place a minimum requirement for admission. We take into consideration academic performance at the student's preschool or previous elementary school, our own academic assessment results, standardized test scores, and in some cases a parent and student interview. We also pay close attention to personal recommendations, leadership potential and extra-curricular involvement, and a student's attitude towards school performance.

What are your test scores like?

Legacy has consistently scored in the 90th percentile or better on the Stanford Achievement Test (10) for the past seventeen years. This standardized test is given to public and private school students across the country and is a nationally normed test that compares our students with others across the country.

Are students placed on a wait list?

Yes! Students are placed on an INTEREST list. This list is not drawn from in a chronological method. When an opening occurs, students are selected from this waiting list based on school readiness and ability to succeed in a high performing academic setting. Waiting lists are not exhausted based on chronological receipt.

How can I visit LCA?

Families can schedule a campus tour with the Founder of the school on Monday and Wednesday mornings. There are regularly scheduled informational nights and Open Houses that you can also attend. For more information click on "Visiting LCA”.

Is financial aid available at LCA?

Financial aid is needs based and is mission driven. In exchange for financial assistance, parents are expected to provide some minimal service hours.

Is there a tuition discount for siblings?

Yes! We offer a 10% discount off of the second and third child.

What if parents are separated or divorced?

We believe that both parents have a financial obligation to contribute to their children's educational expenses and consider the assets and income of both natural parents. If either parent has remarried, we will consider the income of the step-parent as well.
