Your Family and the Legacy Family
Legacy welcomes and encourages parental involvement at all levels. As the parent of a Legacy student, your entire family is an integral part of the Legacy family.
Parent Involvement
Legacy promotes a family-oriented school environment. To this end, Legacy sponsors a variety of programs and events which encourage parent participation in school life.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer in their child's classroom. These volunteers monitor independent work and assist with materials preparation. Parents may also volunteer during enrichment classes to help with special projects and activities.
Parents volunteer on campus in other capacities as well. Many serve as party coordinators and volunteers, R.E.A.D. volunteers, guest speakers, uniform recycling coordinators, and library assistants. Six parents each year portray famous men and women in history for school-wide assemblies. Parents also serve as chaperones on classroom field trips.
